Capital member Storrs Downey will present at National Business Institute’s (NBI) seminar “Human Resource Law From Start to Finish” on March 9. The Indiana seminar will provide fundamentals of labor and employment law and examine current issues in human resources, from hiring to firing and everything in-between.

- Discipline and Discharge – Necessary Documentation
Storrs’s presentation on workplace behavior will cover employee surveillance, searching employee’s belongings and monitoring communications, drug and alcohol testing, workplace violence and more. His presentation on discipline and discharge will detail proactive policy approaches, evaluating employee performance, minimizing liability, common mistakes to avoid during discharge and more.
