Capital member Geoff Bryce and of counsel Samuel Levine will present “The Impact of COVID-19 on the Construction Industry” at Illinois State Bar Association’s Construction Law Section webinar on August 11.

Geoff will moderate the panel discussion that will cover force majeure case law and clauses in construction contracts, coverage for potential COVID-19 claims and the pandemic’s impact on employment related policies and procedures.

Sam will present “Force Majeure Case Law,” and will discuss case law impacting contractual obligations in construction contracts as they relate to COVID-19, specifically cases addressing commercial frustration and impracticability.
