With more than 20 years of experience, Rachell focuses her practice in workers’ compensation and general liability. She is a dedicated attorney committed to defending her client’s interests and developing successful legal strategies.

Prior to joining Downey & Lenkov, Rachell was a sole practitioner where she gained extensive experience in real estate, estate planning, and corporate law. In addition to her law practice, Rachell is a licensed real estate broker and has acted as a member of the Mainstreet Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee. She is also an Advisory Board member of the McHenry County College for their Paralegal Program and on the McHenry County Historical Preservation Committee.

She received her double BA in English and Criminal Justice from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota before moving to Chicago to begin her legal career. While working full-time, Rachell attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, graduating with a JD and a certificate in labor and employment law.

Outside of work, Rachell enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. Being a native Minnesotan, she goes camping, fishing, and hunting. She also enjoys fantasy football and bartends for fun.
