Michael concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation and general liability defense. As a devoted attorney, he is dedicated to defending his client’s interests. Before joining Downey & Lenkov, he was a licensed Medicare health insurance agent, which allows a unique perspective on case handling.

He began his legal career as a law clerk for both CASA DeKalb County and Downey & Lenkov. He recently graduated from Northern Illinois University College of Law with honors. He also obtained a degree from DePaul University in Music Performance.

Outside of work, Michael likes to spend time with his wife Allison, and their Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Kala.
