Geoff Bryce to Present on Standard of Care for Design Professionals and Architect Claim Reduction Strategies at PLDF Annual Meeting

PLDF 9th Annual Meeting

Thu Oct 4 2018 | 11:00 a.m. CST

Geoff Bryce will present “The Standard of Care for Design Professionals, and Architect Claim Reduction Strategies from Contract Negotiation to Contract Administration” at the Professional Liability Defense Federation’s 9th Annual Meeting and CLE/CEU Presentation in New Orleans. Geoff joins fellow panelists Farhad Booeshaghi of Global Engineering Scientific Solutions, Guy Hollingsworth of Hanover and Jose B. Rodriguez of Daniels Rodriguez.

Panelists will contrast a standard of care that suggests design professionals must design “crash proof” structures with a standard of care defined by the contractual relationship between the design professional and the client. They will also evaluate valuable claim reduction strategies through efficient use of architect contract negotiation and administration.

PLDF is a non-profit organization designed to bring attorneys, claims professionals and risk management specialists together to share information useful to the successful defense of professional liability claims. The annual conference offers panel discussions on developments in legal, medical, construction design, insurance producer, accounting, directors and officers, and real estate professional negligence claims.
