Judge Ward Presents Mediation in Illinois Employer Third Party Actions and Workers’ Compensation Liens

On September 20, 2013, Cook County Judge A. Ward (Ret.) of ADR Systems presented a seminar to the attorneys of Downey & Lenkov to discuss the benefits of and strategies for mediation in general liability cases involving workers’ compensation liens and third party defendant employers.

We aggressively and successfully defend and represent third party defendant employers and recover significant liens on their behalf every year in Illinois. We find mediation can be important method of successfully resolving such cases on our clients’ behalf.
